1. How to Place a Trade Proposal

This guide outlines the steps required to initiate a trade by placing a proposal on an item listed in the StampBox "For Trade" Marketplace.

Prerequisites
  • Ensure you are logged into your StampBox account.
  • Have the stamp items or coins you wish to offer readily available in your inventory.
Step-by-Step Instructions
Step 1.

Navigate to the Marketplace & click on the "For Trade" Tab or visit the following URL: https://stampbox.com/marketplace/trades

Step 2.

Browse the listings. Once you find the item you wish to trade for, click the Item Title or Image to open its detailed view.

Step 3.

On the item detail page, locate and click the "Place Offers" button. This action will open the Trade Proposal interface.

Step 4. Describe Your Offer

In the input field labeled "Your Proposal", write a compelling description of your trade proposal to engage the item owner.

Step 5. Add Offered Items

In the "Items Offered" section, select and add the specific items from your inventory that you are offering in exchange. A preview will display below.

Step 6. Submit the Proposal

Click the "Submit Proposal" button to finalize and send your trade offer to the item owner.

Once the page refreshes, you will be redirected to your proposal listing. The item owner will receive a notification and may accept, decline, or counter your offer.

2. How to List a Trade

This guide details the procedure for selecting an item from your inventory and successfully creating a new trade listing on the StampBox marketplace.

Prerequisites
  • You must be logged into your StampBox account.
  • The item you wish to list must already be cataloged in your inventory (for existing items).
Step-by-Step Instructions
Step 1.

Navigate to the Marketplace and click the "List a Trade" button, or visit the following URL directly: https://stampbox.com/marketplace/trades

Step 2. Select the Trade Type

A pop-up window will appear with two options:
Option 1: Single Trade
Option 2: Multi-Same Trades
Select the appropriate option.

Step 3. Select the Main Item

Use the left-side tabs (My Stamps, My Bundles, Create Stamp) to select the item you want to trade. Click the item, then click "Submit".

Step 4. Confirm Sub-Items (If Needed)

If prompted, select sub-items by checking the box next to the item name(s). Once selected, click "Next".

Step 5. Fill Out the Create Trade Form

Complete all required fields in the Create Trade Form.

  • Trader’s Terms & Conditions
  • End Trade Date
  • End Trade Time
  • Select Trade Type
  • Shipping Option
  • Return Policy
Step 6. Finalize and Submit

Select Save as Publish or Draft. Then click the "Create Trade" button to finalize and submit your listing.

After submission, a confirmation message will appear. If published, your trade item will become visible in the "For Trade" marketplace section.
