1. How to Place an Auction Bid

This guide outlines the steps required to participate in an auction and place a bid on the StampBox Marketplace.

Prerequisites
  • Ensure you are logged into your StampBox account.
  • Ensure you have enough balance in your wallet account.
Step-by-Step Instructions
Step 1.

Navigate to the Marketplace and click on the "On Auction" Tab Or visit the following URL: https://stampbox.com/marketplace/auctions

Step 2.

Once you find an item you wish to purchase, click the "Bid Now" button.

Step 3.

On the item detail page, locate and click the "Place a bid now" button to open the bidding interface.

Step 4.

In the input field labeled "Add Amount($)", type the value you wish to bid.

Step 5.

Click the "Place Bid" button to finalize your offer.

Once the page refreshes, you will see a success message. You can verify your bid status by checking the "Bids Listing" section at the bottom of the page.

2. How to List an Item for Auction

This guide details the procedure for selecting an item from your inventory and successfully creating a new live auction listing on the marketplace.

Prerequisites
  • You must be logged into your StampBox account.
  • The item you wish to list must already be cataloged in your inventory.
Step-by-Step Instructions
Step 1.

Navigate to the Marketplace and click on the "List an Auction" button, or visit the following URL directly: https://stampbox.com/marketplace/auctions

Step 2. Select the Main Item Source

From the left side tabs within the pop-up (e.g., My Items, My Stampbox, My Bundles, Expired Auctions, or Create new stamp item). Click on the item you wish to list and then click the "Submit" button.

Step 3. Sub-Item Confirmation

Select sub-items, check the box next to the specific item name(s) to include them in the auction. Once selected, click the "Next" button.

Step 4. Fill out the Create Auction Form

Fill out the Create Auction Form with all necessary details.

  • End Auction Date and Time
  • Select Time Zone
  • Bid Type Accepted (Cash or Coin)
  • Buy It Now Price (Optional)
  • Reserve Price (Optional)
  • Initial Bid
  • Shipping Option
  • Return policy
  • Parcel details
Step 5.

After entering all above required information, select the appropriate option for Save as (Publish or Draft). Click the "Create Auction" button to finalize your listing.

A success message will display confirming that your auction item has been successfully listed (if Publish was selected).
