StampBox’s Bounties feature empowers collectors to post open, public WANTED posters for any philatelic item—be it a rare stamp, publication, supply, or piece of ephemera. These posters invite the entire StampBox community of collectors and philatelic businesses to join the hunt. Once a match is found and accepted, the successful finder earns a reward. Whether you’re searching for a missing piece in your collection or offering one from your stock, Bounties turns passion into opportunity. Here's How To Hunt/List Bounty:

1. How to Hunt a Bounty Item

This guide outlines the steps required to request eligibility and subsequently place an offer on an item listed in the StampBox "Bounties" Marketplace.

Prerequisites
  • Ensure you are logged into your StampBOX account.
  • Ensure you meet the minimum eligibility requirements:
  • MRS Badge Level: Gold
  • Rating: 3+
  • Membership: Premium
Step-by-Step Instructions
Step 1.

Navigate to the "Bounties" tab of the Marketplace, or visit the following URL directly: https://stampbox.com/marketplace/bounties

Step 2. Request to Hunt the Item

Browse the listings. Once you find the item you wish to hunt for, click the "Hunt Now" button.

Note: A request will be sent to the Bounty owner for approval. You will be automatically notified when the request status is updated. Once your request is accepted, the system will enable the "Submit Offer" button on the item page.

Step 3. Initiate the Offer Interface

After your request is approved, navigate back to the item detail page, locate, and click the "Place Offer" button. This action will open the Send Bounty Offer interface.

Step 4. Add Offered Items

In the "Add Offered Items" section, select and add the specific stamp items from your eligible inventory locations (e.g., My Items, My Stampbox, My for Sale Items, & My item from Marketplace). A preview of your complete offer will display below this section.

Step 5. Submit the Offer

Review all details of your proposed offer for accuracy. Click the "Submit Offer" button to finalize and send your Bounty offer to the Bounty owner.

The Bounty owner will receive a notification of your offer and can choose to accept or decline it. You will be notified of the outcome.

2. How to List an Item for Bounty

This guide details the procedure for listing a desired item as a "Bounty," allowing other qualified users to offer that item to you from their own inventory.

Prerequisites
  • You must be logged into your StampBox account.
Step-by-Step Instructions
Step 1.

Navigate to the "Bounties" tab of the Marketplace, or visit the following URL directly: https://stampbox.com/marketplace/bounties

Step 2.

Click on "List a Bounty" Button.

Step 3.

Fill out the Create Bounty Form with all necessary details. After entering all required information, select the appropriate option for Save as (Active or Draft).

Step 4.

Click the "Create Bounty" button to finalize your listing.

A confirmation message will display, and your requested item will appear in the "Bounties" section of the marketplace (if Active was selected). Users who meet the requirements can now submit offers to you.
